JONETSU BESPOKE ALBUM: KRISTIN & ROB

It’s been album design central around the studio. Time to start sharing some of the fun!
Rob is the third of three wonderful brothers we’ve photographed over the past few years. Sorry guys, I had to post this little beauty of the three of you we saw at your parent’s place- (it’s too cute) Then & Now:

Keith, Jason and Rob have all married the most stunningly beautiful, intelligent and completely down to earth women. Look how thrilled these ladies are to find their perfect match, oh yes! :

When we design our Jonetsu Bespoke albums, our goal is very clear: to convey all of the emotion and beauty of our clients’ big day. This album will be passed down for generations. Portraits are important, but it’s the powerful photojournalistic moments that bring the joy back instantly. It really is a shame these blogs are so tiny. Each spread in this album measures 26 inches wide.

I don’t even have to tell you how sweet and genuine Kristin and Rob are, and how much they adore their friends and family. Feel their day here (turn up the music):

Beautiful Blog 🙂
You guys are so sweet and amazing at what you do. We couldn’t be happier with how you captured our special day. Having you there to photograph our wedding was such a treat, and we thank you for creating such beautiful memories.

ps – the now and then of the boys is classic, love it!

Beautiful photos. We’re looking at getting married next August 19th, and saw you were covering vancityallie’s wedding…. and will be contacting you soon about openings and cost. However, after seeing this photo I have to ask whether it’s possible for you to ask where they got that STUNNING red dress!
(Thanks in advance)

Lucky 7 Years

Seven years ago today, Chadwick and I vowed to be together always, at The Chapel of the Epiphany in Vancouver.

Our vows were straight-up, traditional (though slightly modified) and to both of us: meaningful beyond belief.   I specifically remember our time in the church as my favourite of the day.

Working together and seeing each other as much as we do, we’re often amazed that we still have so much fun together.  I miss him quickly.  We can talk about anything with complete honesty.  All is ok when we’re together.

To my husband, I love you.  You know this.  As the lyrics to our car songs get stranger every year, our harmony gets better.

You’re my rock.   And you rock (not just at Rock Band but at everything).

Alright, that’s it for the blog gush.  Much love, Camille.

OK… so my lovely wife just correctly pointed out that if I’m going to start commenting on our blog that not doing so here would be kinda ridiculous. I tell her every day how much I love her, and I still haven’t quite figured out why she said yes (so super hot, smart, witty and creative she is) but a lucky man I am indeed!!

JONETSU Saucy Cat Sessions.

Not sure why, but the very popular word “boudior” has just never worked for me, personally.  Since 2000, we’ve been shooting the odd Saucy Cat session for our brides or their friends wishing to capture their inner saucy kitten (usually “for” the men in their lives, though I’m certain those albums have been equally satisfying to each woman and her girlfriends too!).

We receive emails asking if we offer “boudior”, and the answer is yes-ish, in the JONETSU way.

Sessions are unique to you.  Sexy is unique, wouldn’t you say?  So each session is for one woman.  We have a consultation with you, and artistically direct a session that will perfectly fit your personal “sexy”.  Perhaps you feel sexiest in the forest?  If you have a “boudior”, we can shoot your Saucy Cat session there 🙂

You hire your own hair and makeup artist and I (Camille) will photograph you at the location we’ve dreamed up together.  Have a glass of wine, relax, chat – it’s fun! Sessions last about two hours, sometimes longer if we end up chatting too long.

I will select a maximum of 25 images for your review and I will design a Jonetsu Bespoke Album for you featuring the retouched, completely You images.

On this shoot day, my client found out she and her husband were expecting a baby!  What a great day to remember!

mmMMmm LOVE the saucy xoxoxoxox!!!! (:

JONETSU is coming to Ontario & Quebec this Fall!

Chadwick is from Stratford, Ontario.  For years, we’ve been trying to get back in time for some Stratford Shakespeare Festival shows.  Oh, and those spectacular fall leaves- I’m really excited!

We’ve secured time between this Fall’s wedding commissions to visit our dear family, friends and photograph the folks who need some fun & authentic documentation of their family lives!

Be in touch with us if you’re interested in setting up a session!  Visit our website (under SIGNATURE GALLERIES:FAMILY and BESPOKE ALBUMS) to see what we’ve done for families.
